If you’re struggling with something in your life that’s causing you pain or making you feel uncomfortable, talking about it can help. In an ideal world, we do this with friends or family. Sometimes that doesn’t feel safe. Everyone seems to have their own agenda or we fear that they will judge us and think of us differently, if we dare to be truly open about our thoughts and feelings.
I provide a safe, confidential, regular space for you to explore the feelings and concerns that are causing difficulty in your life. This space is filled with compassion, caring and warmth. Most people experience a great relief in sharing their worries and fears with someone they can trust.
Our work together will support you in finding your own insights and empower you to be able to trust yourself and make your own decisions.
If you feel ready, let’s get started and work together to make positive changes in your life.
How I work
I am a BACP professionally registered practitioner and, as such, I abide by their ethical framework, which ensures safe practice. I offer a working relationship of warmth, acceptance and honesty. The quality of the relationship is my priority, coming from a person-centred accredited training. We will also integrate powerful techniques, working with mindfulness, creatively with art materials, EMDR or a more solution focussed perspective, if it is something that we both agree might be helpful for you.
Where
Sessions are online using Skype or see Walk & Talk Therapy page.
To make sure that we are a good fit for one another, I offer an initial consultation session at a reduced rate of £25.
