At times in life we can find ourselves facing experiences that feel confusing, painful or difficult to make sense of. These moments can affect how we feel about ourselves and how we relate to others. I believe that having a space where you can talk openly, without fear of judgement, can be an important part of making sense of these experiences. Being heard and understood can, in itself, begin to bring a sense of relief and clarity.
My approach is grounded in compassion, respect and a belief that each person has their own inner capacity for understanding and change. When we are struggling, this can feel hard to access, and therapy can help you reconnect with that part of yourself. I offer both short-term, focused work and longer-term, open-ended counselling, depending on what feels right for you. We can think about this together and find an approach that supports you best.
If you’re considering counselling and would like to take the next step, you are welcome to get in touch. I am happy to answer any questions or arrange an initial session.
